Currently documented item list
This index lists item names that appear consistently in current Build An Ant Empire guides. It is not labeled a complete live shop. Prices, exact effects, duration values, source locations, and version changes must be read from the current game before purchase. Unknown fields are left out instead of filled with guesses.
The documented set divides into four Speed Jelly names, six mutation names, and a Mutation Removal Potion. Auto Jelly Feed is included as a related feature rather than counted as a shop item because it automates an action and may use a separate interface.
How to read this index
Start with type. Timed Jelly belongs to a play session and should be judged by current duration and route value. A mutation potion belongs to one ant and should be judged by the worker you intend to keep. Removal changes mutation state but does not establish a refund. The related Auto Jelly Feed feature belongs to feeding controls and should not be treated as another speed item without live evidence.
Next check the target. Select the exact ant before confirming an item. Avoid an unplaced spare, opening Common, or mount-training candidate when using an expensive mutation. For timed movement, choose a worker and session that can actually use the effect.
Finally check status and date. These names were compared across current community sources on October 3, 2026. The game interface remains the deciding source for availability and values after updates.
Buying order for a stable colony
Finish a Food sale, keep a Queen reserve, fill available slots, and improve recruitment before making the shop the priority. When the colony can recover the item cost without stopping, choose the lowest-risk item that solves a named problem. A timed Jelly should support an active route. A mutation should support a keeper.
Do not purchase only because one row is cheaper than another. A removal item can cost less while deleting an effect. A higher mutation tier can have a larger community-reported effect while being unreasonable for the current wallet. Compare purpose, target, and opportunity cost.
Verify values in game
Open the current item interface and read the full name, price suffix, effect label, duration, and target prompt. If any field differs from a guide, use the current client. Take extra care with abbreviations because a suffix change represents a large cost difference.
No exact value on this page is presented as official. Two current community references largely agree on the item family, but the audit evidence requires live verification before treating every price and multiplier as final. The index is designed to remain useful by separating stable item roles from volatile numbers.
Frequently asked questions
How many documented shop items are listed?
Current community guides describe eleven: four Speed Jelly entries, six mutation potions, and one Mutation Removal Potion. Verify the current shop before calling that list complete.
Which item should a beginner buy?
Usually none until the colony loop, Queen reserve, and active slots are stable. If a timed item is affordable, use it only for a planned session.
Which ant should get a mutation?
Choose a high-rarity placed worker you expect to keep. Avoid a Common you plan to replace or any ant intended for mount training.
Why are exact prices missing?
Public values are not first-party and can change. The current shop is the proper place to confirm price suffixes before spending.
Where can I compare effects?
Use the Mutations Guide for modifier decisions and the Jelly Guide for timed movement and session planning.
